I have an institutional code and my students have individual codes. How do we register?

Your students need to have access to the same product as the one used for creating the class they should enroll in. If there is any issue with enrolling your students into your class, please contact support .

How do I change a student’s username?

Unfortunately, you cannot change a student’s username, due to technical and security reasons. Please  contact support if you need help deleting an account and creating a new one.

How do I register for multiple courses?

To join another class simply follow the instructions in our help article Joining a teacher’s class .

Is there a limit of students that can be enrolled in one class?

We suggest a limit of 300 students in a class, otherwise, you may find there are performance issues.

How do I reset my password?

• If you know your e-mail address, you can reset your password with the use of the Forgot your password or username? link on the login page. You will receive an email which will enable you to reset your password.
• If you have more than one account linked to the email address, you will be able to choose the one to which you have forgotten the password.

• If you cannot remember your email address or continue to have issues, please  contact support .

My students are having problems logging in to the portal. What can I do?

• Make sure students use the correct URL to sign into their account at Pearson English Portal: http://english.com/signin
• You can reset your students’ passwords from your teacher account. Please follow the instructions available in our help article Resetting students’ passwords .
• Students can also reset their password on their own, using Forgot your password or username? link on the login page.

Why can’t I join my class?

You need to have access to the same product as the one used by your teacher for creating the class. If you have any issues with joining a class, please contact your teacher first. If you confirmed your product and class ID and the issue persists, please  contact support .

Why can’t my students join my class?

Your students need to have access to the same product as the one used for creating the class they should enroll in. Please also make sure they enter the correct class ID. If you suspect there is any technical issue with enrolling your students into a class, please  contact support .

Access code FAQs

I have more than one account but it will only let me use my access code once. What can I do?

Access codes are single-use. We advise using one account in PEP, you can add multiple products in one account. Please  contact support  if you are having any issues with code activation.

My access code isn’t working

If you’re a student, contact your teacher. If you’re a teacher, please contact support .

How do I get an access code?

You can find access codes in some printed books or  contact support .

Is an access code only valid for one course?

No, you can create multiple classes with the same product.

Is there a time limit on using the access code?

Access codes can be activated for a period of many years after being generated, it is unlikely your code will expire. Please  contact support  if you are having any issues with product activation.

After you have switched browsers and your assignment is still not opening, you must disable pop-up blocker.

Pearson MyLab & Mastering is an interactive educational system designed to accompany textbooks published by Pearson Education. When this tool is added to a Canvas course, instructors and their students can use Pearson's interactive instructional materials, including homework, quizzes, and multimedia tutorials. Pearson MyLabsPlus

Pearson MyLabsPlus enables instructors to manage their Pearson MyLab & Mastering courses from one place. After adding the MyLabsPlus tool to Canvas Modules, instructors and students can access their course and its content directly from Canvas.

Pearson MyLab & Mastering is a global LTI app in Canvas; however, by default, it is hidden.
